Joanne has provided an excellent, prompt and professional service, and my daughter now has beautiful new curtains to finish off her bedroom. I have had curtains made in-store in the past, and I can safely that the standard of Joanne’s work is the best I’ve ever seen. She offered great advice and provided great quality fabric. Joanne hand-finishes her curtains, and the quality of the sewing and the attention to detail is fantastic. I highly recommend Joanne’s work, and will be returning for new curtains for our large bay window when we re-decorate next year. Joanne also provides really good technical advice on roman blinds and fabric finishes – and when you meet her it’s clear that she takes huge pride in her work. Definitely a 5 star review!

Highly recommend Joanne! Joanne has made me blinds for my bedroom and living room and curtains for a bedroom. I couldn't be happier with them. She is so talented, patient and a complete perfectionist. It's a big investment and she's so helpful with choosing fabrics and putting up with (well in my case) indecision! Joanne will discuss all options and costs honestly and is so easy to work with. I wouldn't ever go back to buying ready made curtains or from a chain. There is a huge difference! Thanks again Joanne.

The attention to detail that Joanne shows, and the skills to create our super luxurious curtains, cushions etc are worth every penny. We did have a budget to work to, and Joanne came up with some great ways to save money, without compromising the quality of the project. Since then, we just couldn't stop with upstairs, so we asked Joanne to get to work on 3 other rooms, so this year our house has been completed transformed, we are so chuffed with everything that Joanne has done for us. When you consider what you spend on furnishing your home and choosing all the different paints, wallpapers, curtains etc. you'd be crazy not to ask Joanne to help, getting it right first time will save an awful lot of money. Joanne is worth every single penny, her finished products are stunning !!

During your consultations for the rooms nothing was rushed and you took into account my personality, how the room would be used and the budget and provided samples that I would never have considered or been able to obtain myself. So now I have a gorgeous, calming bedroom and a warm, welcoming living room, both of which are a pleasure to be in! I had already purchased some fabric and wanted a Roman Blind making for my dining room. I approached Joanne after finding details of her business, Joanne Smith Interiors, on the Internet. Joanne responded promptly to my email enquiry and arranged a home visit to measure the window. I found Joanne to be a warm, friendly person who was quick to understand my personal style and tastes. Joanne offered suggestions about the make up and fitting of the blind which improved on my initial ideas. Technically, Joanne's skills are fantastic and the hand stitched blind looks perfect. Joanne certainly has an eye for fabric colours and textures and she blended both of these into our existing room. I was particularly impressed with her initial consultation visit ... fabric options were discussed and many samples were available to view. Joanne offered advice on styles and fitting and we eventually agreed on a fabric and voile for the windows with cushions and throws being available in a complementary fabric which added a little luxury to the room. I have had a number of compliments from friends and will be calling on Joanne's services for 2 other rooms later in the year.

I have never engaged the services of a stylist before but with a busy life I really didn’t want to spend hours looking through magazines for ideas. It was a pleasure to invite Joanne into my home to discuss a new décor for our living room. Joanne gently made suggestions that were well within our comfort zone but also offered alternative ideas that would completely transform the space. Needless to say we were excited by the prospect of a ‘new look’ that I certainly wouldn’t have chosen by myself. Joanne took on board what items had to stay and worked with that and an understanding of the demands of a living in a male dominated household.
